Founder
Bishnu comes from a long line of Himalayan adventurers from Nepal and has spent most of his life running, organising, and leading trips on rivers throughout the Indian and Nepalese Himalayas. He is an experienced raft guide, safety kayaker, trip leader, and International Technical Rescue Association (ITRA) rescue instructor. Bishnu has honed his skills on some of the toughest Himalayan rivers.
He has also worked as both a raft and safety kayaker on rivers in India, Bhutan, and Japan. Bishnu is a certified ITRA instructor, a Whitewater Rescue Technician – Advanced, and a Wilderness First Responder (WMI, U.S.A.). Additionally, he has completed both the Basic and Advanced Rock and Ice Courses through the Khumbu Climbing Center (KCC) in Nepal.
Creative Head
Yeshi was born and raised in the Himalayan region, which has instilled in her a deep love for the mountains and their people. As a natural philanthropist and humanitarian, her work heavily focuses on these values. She actively promotes sustainable products sourced from various areas in the Himalayas. At Big Smile, Yeshi oversees the overall management of the organisation and the team. Additionally, she has enhanced the company’s merchandise by taking on the role of creative head. We are happy to have Yeshi join us on our adventures!
